HOW IT WORKS
Circular economy
Lesswalk import and purchase excess capacity of brand new and used bicycles globally at low price into Myanmar. We then refurbish them and work with Ministry of Education to donate these bicycles for free to students living below poverty line and those who require to walk extremely long distance from home to school. This will benefit the students by allowing them to spend more time in learning and more focus during class time. We are not only able to solve the waste created by 1st world country, we are also able create opportunity for the needy ones.
We target to donate to students from Age of 13-18 who walk more than 1-3 hours to school. By cutting the travelling time, we are able to reduce school drop out rate and also give the children more time to focus on education.
